Timetable from Venice
Departures to Greece and Istria, from Venice and back. Choose your route and date.
To Greece: all year round
Blue Star Ferries sails to Greece. The ship leaves from the Fusina ferry terminal, calls first at Igoumenitsa and continues to Patras. The crossing takes around 26 hours to Igoumenitsa and around 33 hours to Patras.
On the 2026 timetable, departures from Venice are usually on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and in some periods on Sundays as well. The operator changes the days from one timetable period to the next and has cancelled some autumn sailings. So if there's nothing on the day you want, check the days either side too.
To Istria and Piran: in season
The catamarans to Pula, Rovinj, Poreč and Piran run roughly from spring into October and leave from the San Basilio terminal in the historic centre. They carry foot passengers only. The timetables are designed for day trips from Istria: to Venice in the morning, back in the late afternoon. In 2026 the Kompas catamarans leave Venice between 16:30 and 17:00; the Piran sailing runs on Saturdays only.
