One route, two ports
In 2026 a single ferry route links Venice with Greece, operated all year round by Blue Star Ferries. The ferry leaves from the Fusina terminal on the mainland, calls at Igoumenitsa and ends in Patras. The ships carry the name of the sister brand, Superfast: usually it's the Superfast V, with the Superfast III, IV or VII covering some sailings. They are car ferries with cabins, seats, restaurants and bars.
On the 2026 timetable the ferry leaves Venice on Wednesdays at 12:30 and Saturdays at 14:00, and in some periods on Sundays at 12:30 as well. The timetable changes from period to period. Some sailings are cancelled, for example in spring, at the end of October and in November. The timetable shows the departures for your date.

To Corfu via Igoumenitsa
Plenty of travellers look for a ferry from Venice to Corfu, but the route from Venice only calls there on selected dates. The usual way is via Igoumenitsa: you disembark there and take a connecting ferry across to Corfu. Allow time in port and book the connecting ferry separately, as it isn't included in your ticket from Venice.
Check-in at Fusina
Blue Star Ferries requires you to be at the Fusina terminal, Via dell'Elettronica, 30176 Venezia, at least 3 hours before departure. Have your passport or ID card ready, and your vehicle registration document if you're travelling with a vehicle. Cars can't enter the historic centre; the road ends at Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto. More on the city's ports on our Terminals page.
Cabin or seat
You'll spend at least one night on board. The fleet offers cabins with shower and toilet, inside or outside, plus airline-style seats. For pets there are dedicated pet cabins and an exercise area. Our Prices page explains how the fare for passengers, vehicle and cabin adds up.
